Esta noche se llevaron a cabo los MTV Video Music Awards 2019. En el Prudential Center en Newark, Nueva Jersey se congregaron los mejores artistas de la escena musical.
Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande y J Balvin fueron algunos de los famosos que deslumbraron con sus atuendos. La celebración estuvo moderada por el comediante Sebastián Maniscalco.
En esta celebración se le rindió un tributo a la rapera estadunidense Melissa Arnette Elliott, conocida como Missy Elliot. Se le otorgó el Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
