Otro año lleno de emociones en el sector gaming está por culminar, y a falta de menos de un mes de su ceremonia, The Game Awards 2023 dio a conocer su lista completa de nominados, cuyo principal atractivo, año con año, es el premio al GOTY (Game of the Year, Juego del Año).
Este año, destaca Nintendo como la editora con más títulos nominados gracias a 15 entregas diferentes que están encabezadas por Super Mario Bros. Wonder y The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Además, cabe señalar que Alan Wake II y Baldur's Gate 3 son los títulos que acumulan más nominaciones individuales, con un total de ocho. Por debajo, se halla el igual aclamado exclusivo de PlayStation Marvel's Spider-Man 2 con siete.
Una de las grandes sorpresas de este año es que el título 'triple A' de Xbox Game Studios desarrollado por Bethesda, Starfield, aparece apenas en una categoría, lejos de lo que muchos esperaban para la premiación, dejando a Xbox y su conglomerado con discretas nominaciones para este año.
Antes del listado, hay que destacar que en la categoría de Creador de Contenido del Año se encuentran dos hispanohablantes, siendo el argentino Spreen y el mexicano Quackity dos de los cinco considerados para recibir el premio este año.
